上海大剧院于1998年建成，主要上演歌剧、交响、芭蕾、戏剧等大型演出。大剧院原有VI及标识配色为红色、金色及白色。我们的工作是配合室内设计师团队进行地下车库的整体改造，并承担导视系统升级和环境图形的工作。
上海大剧院地下车库投入使用的周期已有20年，各类导视在此期间不断修改，大小、材料、设计手法五花八门，视觉感受非常杂乱。因此我们的工作重心之一是对原有的导视牌从设计风格、材料和形式上重新进行整合，统一设计语言。同时我们将原有导视体系进行了重新梳理，着重加强部分导视功能，并对重叠的功能进行简化。
大剧院是一个具有文化属性的公共建筑，我们在墙面和地面上分别用印刷和射灯手段设置了和各类演出相关的环境装饰图形，使观众一进入大剧院就能感受到大剧院所带来的文化氛围，也借此减少地下空间所带来的紧张和封闭感。

Shanghai Grand Theater is built in 1998, and it is mainly for large scale performances such as operas, orchestra, ballet and drama plays. The original colors of VI and the symbols in the grand theater are red, golden and white. Our job is to cooperate with the indoor designers group to make the overall reconstruction on the underground garage, and undertake the job of updating the guide system and environment graphics.
The underground garage of the Shanghai grand theater has been put into use for 20 years, during which all kinds of guide has been changed over and over again with different sizes, materials and designing styles, which puts the visual sense in a big chaos. Therefore, one of our key task is to integrate all the original guide plates from design style, material and form, and to unite the design language. Meanwhile, we reorganized the original guide system and especially strengthened part of the guide function, and simplified some overlapped functions.
The grand theater is a public building with a cultural attribute, so we designed the environment decorating graphics related to all kinds of performance with the means of printing and spotlight on the ground and walls, which brings the audience immediately the cultural atmosphere from the moment they walk into the theater, and also reduce the sense of enclosed space and nervousness from the underground space.
